Whats sad is all the +1 doom posts that follow suit just for the sake of it.

What Avery said is correct, at least that's what I made out of it by following the main forums.

And if your main reason for playing this game is blood and tits, imo you need to get laid or become a forensic pathologist IRL. Blood and bewbs does not equal a mature game.

The main issue is, Funcom need to stay true to the original lore.

Derketo is one of the main Gods, anything related to Derketo need to stay totally true to the original lore, period.

Recent changes:

Just these here got patched, they got given tops to blend more in with the group, still scantly clad though.

Yep still the same, these followers looked just like the ones outside that now have a nice satin type top on.

Chick inside... She still like Derketo! Improvements made? yep my FPS jumped by about 80 +

Anyway, the way I see it they are just cleaning up a few area's, animations on the women are better, the ones outside now move about a bit more. They stuck some clothes on a chick in Lachish who was naked, big deal.

Like I said before A Lot of Hot Air over nothing..

And some people jump on the hate bandwagon even more when there is no need to.

I think many here are missing the point.

It comes down to 2 issues...

• The game was marketed, advertised, and promoted as having a Mature rating. And it doesnt matter if you think its silly or pathetic that someone bought the game just to see "tits", thats not the point. People tend to feel duped when they purchase a product with features that are removed. Think of this in reverse...imagine buying a game based on disney toons then suddenty disney decides to nude up mickey and friends because the game isnt doing well. You didnt pay for that.

• Many players hoped that with Age of Conan, they would be able to escape the immature WoW community. The Mature rating would keep the kids (at least some of them anyway) out. Like someone else previously posted, MMO communities today have really gone downhill and Conan was going to be the savior for mature gamers. Going console combined with a cleaned up Teen version means the worst fears have been realized.

Funcom is making a huge mistake if this is true.

The point is that Funcon lied to it's custumers. False advertising is never a good thing, doesn't matter how you try to spin it.

Ah I see, I know pretty much nothing about the AoC lore - never read a book about the Conan universe. I agree that they should stay true to lore though, and if those followers are nude lore-wise, then that's how they should have stayed.

I didnt say they are not true to the original lore anymore, as I still need to revisit all places and check it.

But I understand some of these changes, well, Im not sure the silk blouse and thong are exacly the best choice, anyway, but those naked girls inside the pyramid are not exacly Derketo followers as that pyramid cult is not a real representation of Derketo... anyway, you did the quest and you know what Im talking about.

I hope funcom always still true to the lore and I hope they are open to listen players about it if they make any mistake.
