The game is totaly instanced. Every area is an instance, simply a square where you can move around and kill and farm and grind, but no seamless world at all. Take away the instances, if this is still possible, and Age of Conan will write MMORPG history. |

They cant. Instancing is what the game is built on, and to remove it would mean having to rewrite the game code from the ground up. What could happen is in expansions having more uninstanced areas, but this wouldnt bode well on the 360 due to limited memory resources (having more than X amount of people in an area at the same time would cripple the game on the console) |

I agree...the game has to be instanced to port well to consoles.... expect more of this design from other companies in the future. |

Maybe one day, there will be a company with a great vision for a real MMORGP. Age of Conan, Guildwars etc arent MMORPG´s. They are just multiplayer games running on big servers in lots of instances. Lineage2 and Eve are MMORPG´s. The rest is crap.
