No, Imperial commander, Nair does not come in wookie size. We do have an ewok 6 pack though |
Originally posted by ethion Its really too early to be establishing a trendline from War. So far it looks pretty flat. The weekend numbers were about the same and this week compared to last week some days have been up some days have been down. I'm pretty sure warhammer will drop some in the comming weeks. I'm only lvl 20 but so far I think it is a pretty solid game. Course I thought the same about AoC through lvl 20.... If it falls appart in the coming levels I'd agree if it doesn't and can maintain the game play then I think it will be a lot slower coming down.
I agree, it is too early to get a determination of stable numbers. You need to weed out some one off time factors (like the free 1st month) before getting an idea of a stable customer base and wether or not the game is growing, staying stable, or dropping. We would need to check after Oct 19 for a baseline, watch it for a week, and start comparing it to the next week. To get a full idea, I personally will watch it for at least 5 weeks to make sure. And officially, the usage did increase on both Sat and Sun. So IMO it is too early to make any assumptions. |

It''s one thing to have a opinion, but enforcing one is unconstitutional. |
People never seem to amaze me when it comes to AoC. From the Weekly Stock Reports to Daily updates on Population i wonder why Vanguard doesn't get the same treatment. Guess there was no point in telling SoE stocks? |

There's nothing gained from failure in this genre, nothing at all. Seriously are you a sadist? Do you get off on others interests being ripped away? Why don't you head over to the SWG vet forum and ask a few questions about how it feels to have this happen? |

It's actually dropping for almost ALL MMO games lately (even WoW dispite it still being #1), more disturbing than shocking. WoW averaged 23-24mil minutes/day on Xfire for years, now it's around 18mil. |

Still doesn't mean they are 99% complete, lol. They still have ALOT to do to make that game great. Mythic is a great company so I expect them to continue giving players what they want. They are doing a good job which may save Warhammer. The game itself is just alright. There's nothing new and great to it. Sure, public questing...but that's not necessarily new. Sure, RVR....but RVR is just like the battlegrounds in ways....when you look at the whole picture on Warhammer it's the same as all these games. Same Graphics, Same Gameplay (sure more pvp), and Same Concept. I've crashed 3 times in the past week. Not much and I'm sure it's something they are working on.
I'm sure alot of these things I am seeing wrong with the game they are working on. However, they aren't going to change the graphics which are just so so...and they probably won't fix the memory leakage anytime soon which causes lag for many players. Not to mention it causes the game to close slow as well. There are just certain things I don't like about Warhammer. Already sick of it. Feels like I've been there and done that. Why? Because I've played over 20 f2p games over the past year as well as WoW and other games just like it and they are all the same. With a few differences I still felt WAR was the same ol same ol. All of these games are all the same. We need something new, fresh, original, and creative. Sadly, I think I'm going to cancel my subscription to Warhammer and not go the extra month for now and hope something new and fresh comes out soon. Darkfall looks to be the next promising game. But, I'm not getting too hyped over it atm. I learned my lesson spending the 50 bucks before lotro came out, it sucked. Now Warhammer didn't do it for me and I feel as if I wasted 50.00 there. Well, it's a game I may come back to later on so it's not really wasted. Warhammer didn't suck and it wasn't unenjoyable. It just felt like the same repeating game I've been playing over the past 6 years.

Be careful when you fight the trolls, lest you become one. |
The point is... the ratio of AoC players with Xfire has no reason to be rapidly fluctuating. If 1% of the players are on Xfire, and all of them are playing 40% less on average, it's reasonable to think that a similar trend is going on with the ones that aren't on Xfire. You can think of Xfire kinda like a random sample, as Xfire membership and AoC subscribership are independent of one another. |
