Yes, after playing mmorpgs for abt 10 years I can say for sure that this "mmorpg" is a bad way down the drain. No open zones, stupid quests with stupid rewards, graphic is much better in Lotro and even GW cause of the freedom to go anywhere on much bigger zones, extremely linear, no mail, no auction house no crafting/ economy...sooo bad game I cant even imagine how some idiots say they've spent 5 years to make this Dungeon SIege clone.

I was sooo bored of the other games that I even bought the Collectors Edition. Dont do it, the map is on a "faux" leather, barely readable and smelly as hell, no wood box, just some normal cardboard, the book is useless (and on top of that I didnt even get the ingame items cause they have some problems.

The "support" is stupid, it took 6 hours to reply to a petition, the guy that answered had no idea how to solve it cause he was only a volunteer so he just took my petition off cause they considered someone answered...right ?

The site petition took 1 day to reply with just an automated mail saying they cant solve all particullar problems and gave me just some links from their site. Ah and no real forum ....

Ah and you cant see position of your grp members, not even class without specifically rightclicking ....soo stupid  :(

Too many things to tell...no need to answer, was just a warning to ppl who didnt buy -stay away or you'll want your money back !

Actually,  Your quiet very very wrong about a number of things,   the game is amazing, the crafting system and group system is good, but i am sure in the near future there will be fixes to make the game better, gimme a break man the game just came out a week ago...sorry if you dont like it...thats your opinion, but to tell everyone else not to buy it..well thats silly...this game won numerous awards for a reason...and there is no other game that has the potential like AoC does....your gonna regret not playing this game ......take care and enjoy your older stuff(games).

True the group system is not good in the low levels now. Its quest based.. just like wow. Crafting I dont know Im to low for it.

But the Combat system ist very good and makes fun. Its something new and unique. The quests are NOT boring.. they are quite good. The poster above is just a stupid troll... its easy to figure out, Im glad that this kind of peole dont play his game. AoC will be a good game in the future.. well we will se how WAR will be doing but I suggest it will also have some problems on the start.

Grouping is fine. You see your members on the map, albeit the indicators are small and that should be changed, very much agreed, but if you can't be arsed to look over this I guess you have more serious gripes with the game.

Crafting...quite honestly, I have not crafted yet. From all I've seen it's nothing out of the ordinary. No SWG certainly, simple and to the point instead. So if you're a big crafter, that will maybe put you off a bit. But how is it a joke? There's barely people who got into their end levels now (disregarding the exploitusers) and I would love to see any economy in any MMO flourishing after so little time.

But as I said so often. AoC is not for everyone. However I find it amusing that I am quite certain that within the next moments, someone is going to come in here and flame me as a fanboi because I happen to like the game. It is not allowed to like the game, without simply being someone who enjoys it, however it IS allowed to make accounts for just the purpose of bashing the game without giving people a detailed reason why. Particularly, it is allowed and very much wanted to tell everyone that the game sux ass for -EVERYONE- out there because the opinion of such people is paramount, while those enjoying the game are the fanboi minority.

Amazing.

The crafting system and group system is good?  Seriusoly you trulyl are a fanboi.  There is nothign good about it whatsoever.  Play the game and then start tlaking crap.  grouping and trying to find group memebrs is a joke and crafting is a joke.  

its the new hype among aoc bashers to call everyone who likes the game fanbois? ive even seen ppl thinking there are funcom employees here praising the game, thats hilarious and ridiculous at the same time, maybe they all got bored of the SWG forums calling everyone a SOE employee

Well, posts from people who have only recently joined the forums, with a limited post history who seem to have come only to "warn" others to stay away from a game have always been looked at with a jaundiced eye. (and the oversize type is pretty much a typical dead troll give-away)

I'm certainly no fanboi, but I like the game so far. (only level 16)d

Quests are actually pretty interesting reading, especially the night side, if you chose to actually read the story behind them and not just view them as yet another gathering/kill task, which face it, in a quest based mmo, most of them are.

Graphics are good here, whether LotRO's are better is a matter of preference really, crafting...meh, who cares, crafting sucks, but I doubt the OP got high enough to really get into that portion of the gameplay.   A quick look at the back of the Collector's box would have told you what it contained, hence why I chose not to buy it. 

I imagine support is poor right now, there's a lot of folks flooding it with problems mostly caused by their hardware and funcom's trying to work though them first. Not sure what your petition was about, perhaps they viewed it as inconsequential in light of other peoples problems.

I agree, not being able to pick out your group members quickly is quite a problem,and I really hope they fix that asap.

I did register and post cause I had soo high hopes for this game and it failed miserably.

Maybe you'll have time to read the thousands of posts all over internet with disappointed ppl after they've met AoC.

If not just think of end game in AoC and raiding.

When you'll have raids of min 50 ppl in real zones post here to come back.

I like that crafting is only at higher levels. So many mmo have lowbie crafting in but it sucks until you get over X level.  What is the point of having a crafting at that level if you can't sell anything.   Skipping the unless levels will help with not burning yourself out making gear for 20 level guildies who will use it for a whole 1.5 day.  Save it until it's useful seems like a good idea but we'll see.

It's a NEW game , they are always bugged and need improvements.You are living in a dream world if you think a game will be perfect on release.

Give it some time and come back , the difference will probably be huge. :)

I have to admit i was excited about aoc but there are both good and bad things i feel about this game. The combat sytem and the enviroment are both amazing but this game has brought Dumb down mmo to a whole new level. You dont have to listen or read quest in the game since everything is pointed out on your map and listed there for what you need to do to. In the 5 days that i played i racked up 20 hours of game time and acheived (and i use that word lightly) level 36, thats almost half way to end game. There are pepole in my guild that were in there high 60's. I feel they did not pace this game out well since pepole can and will be doing end game within the first 2 weeks after release.

In my opinon the game will burn out fast after the hype of the game fades. Its sad i feel this way but it is, i was hoping for more but it seems they were trying to make a game that was more like wow in the since that its solo friendly and easy to level so it could apeal to the masses but they overshot that and made it to easy.
