Well I completely understand wanting to make sure the servers are all good for launch, but am kinda bummed that I paid for EA and cannot access due to servers being down until 9pm my time, at which time it is near sleepy time for me , and having a regular 8 to 4 job doesnt allow for all day play....yet.

I completely agree i no its a priveledge not a right but i mean come on. I just saw the patcher and its going to be down for another 2 hours.... its making feel very abused. The 1 day i have off this week and i dedicated this day to play. I cant... thnx funcom I am very dissapointed.

I like the game so far, as does my guild. BUT someone needs to be fired for the handling of the 3 day eehhmm 1 and a half day EA.

Maybe I'm just a conspiracy theorist from my brutal days back in SWG but I don't believe funcom's explanation of the downtime at all. lol  In my opinion why would they take the U.S. servers down when the "majority" of players will be getting off of work and coming home to play the game?  My theory is that they waited all day to do this work to slow down leveling so those that did not get in the EA don't start the game with a huge level gap between those that did.  Maybe I'm full of sh*t but it seems like to me that they could have done this all morning long and had the servers up when people were done with work.  Am I crazy?  I don't think so.

Anybody know why it is only NA servers that went down? Euro servers were not affected by this downtime...shouldn't the two be basically the same gameversions, needing the same work/patches? Also why did Euro get 6 days headstart? Me thinks this game will favor Euro time for downtime....possibly becoming bothersome to NA customers.

Obviously NA servers should be fixed up during NA early morns...not primetime. All I can say if it continues like so...AoC may loose alot of NA customers.
