I just wanted to let you all know(and seeing how this is my first post i mite get flamed/called out) That this game is a pretty decent game. I've been around these forums for a while and decided today to finally register cause i wanted to help the undecided.

To help those undecided i have some SS of the game and some info. For those putting the game down sayin that load times are very long... go away. Longest load time i had was about 30 seconds. Not to long all the way down to 1 second. So far i love the game never was really a "fanboi" but i did look forward to this game, because i needed something new.

Graphics as we all know are great. Performance wise im doing better then i thought i was at max settings. Everyone kinda had me worried with all the "oh my it takes so much to run it" BS. which really isnt to true. i get around 30-40 fps avarage. Which is fine for me at max settings.

PVP i think is fun. i love PVP and i love FFA PVP some dont some do, nothing wrong with that at all.

I think that this game will do well in the coming months and im tired of all the haters and nay sayers. If ur even thinking about this game do urself a favor and buy it. Youll be happy u did in the long run.

Now i have some SS's of my necro on bloodspire if u need any help or keep getting ganked on that server i will be more then happy to lay someone down.

Thanks for the post. Many of us are definitely playing AoC, but are uneasy about whether we made the right choice or not. Your post gives me a bit of confidence.

I agree the game is very good.

So far I haven't had any issues with performance or crashing at all.  I have been lvling on the RP-PVP server and the community is great, not alot of gankers or griefers and if some sprout up you can be sure others are there to help you.  Just put a post up in OOC and you will have a ton of people asking lvl? and where?  because the possy is coming.  It really has been a great experience.

The only thing I can really complain about is I am a priest and can't buff people or heal outside of party.  Really sux you don't know how many times I want to heal people that are fixing to die to a mob.  If someone attack a mob after a few seconds it will lock that mob to them, and you can't do anything beneficial to that person.  But you can help them kill the mob.

Like I said the game is great, very gruesome and has alot of foul language.  Whatever you do don't let your small kids hear you playing, I use headphones.  Serious this game has serious language.  I haven't had any problems with seeing people running around topless or anything but the language from quest givers is like a sailors mouth.

Other than that I am having a great time, and look forward to many long nights.  This game isn't cartoonish WoW, its a hard cruel world with people hanging from ropes, bodies pilled up burning, sailors peeing in the water, cadavers walking with brains hanging out, and some of the meanest fatalites you can see.

ppl need to just calm down and just enjoy the game for what it has. so many ppl love to bash it that the actual arguments go nowhere but in circles. ppl need to know that nothing is perfect, and if theres a problem u dont need to go crazy and say how it ruined ur life and that ur gonna quit. just post it and im sure it will get adressed apropriately. patches will fix all problems in the future so plz do us all a favor and relax. i know the game isnt perfect and there are problems. but plz. for god sakes the game isnt even officially out yet!. so far ive heard that the game is has the best mmo launch ever.

My brother and I both chipped in and picked up a copy of AoC for our dad for his B-day. My dad is now 66 years old and has enjoyed MMO's for many years. His favorite top 3 games are AC,WoW, and EQ1 which he maxed out toons in everyone. Anyway we were all able to get into early access and today he booted up and gave me a call. And he said I know ive only been playing for a day but I love it. He said so far whats not there to like? The graphics are great,combat fun,plenty of quests to do so far, and it runs smooth.

So far I am enjoying AoC and I can only hope that once I reach level 20 there will be even more stuff to do. Some peeps will like it some won't. To each their own.
