Just got a new work laptop, think I can enjoy this game on it? Reasonable settings/frame rates?

SAGER NP2092

with Core Duo 45nm 2.6Ghz

8600 NVidia with 512MB

7200 RPM SATA3 drive

4GB ram

Vista 64 bit

Thanks... I really want to play but get confused by specs these days.

that "should" be good.

Your RAM and Processor certainly are.

The card is a few generations old though ... so you might have to play it on lower settings.  I'd look into an 8800GTS 312MB (or higher if you can) for around 180$.  (DX10 card - but I play on DX9)

yeah you should be ok.

The card might be a fall back but the rest makes up for it on performance.

No you can't change video cards in laptops, which really sux.

You should be fine though, I don't have a killer pc but I haven't had any problems playing and almost everything on my system is on high.

Good Luck, and be prepared to see some eye opening S!@#.   The Mature makes WoW look like Preschool coloring book.

I am counting the hours till tomorrow...

Can anyone comment on the Dark Templar class? I've always been a tank and this class looked interesting.

Thanks again

Dark Templar is ok so far. Not mind blowing, but stands up decently. You will likely only die due to your own mistakes... and you will probably make them. Who doesn't?

Your comp setup sounds fine too. I am on a desktop with similar specs.

This game is actually LESS demanding graphically than Tabula Rasa... At least that is what my vid card temps tell me.
