I'm gonna make suggestion small change to hype-point calculations.

Do not cound any number 1 and 10 in hype-points. Because in both case these people are manipulating hype-meter in they own purpose. Basicly saying they are liers. Because no game will ever been worth of 10 or 1. So, don't tell anyone that you do it, just drop them from calculations. It would give a lot realistic value for the games. So, 1 and 10 would be just trap for liers. Usually these people just hate or love so blindly something, that they forget what's the point is all about.

yeah, the case is many games are multi-hyped with different IDs

In some forums, We found someone registered, publish two posts at almost the same period, and they can hype. That's the rule, lol

what if we add some strategy games.. so while posting they can enjoy strategy games.

So then everyone just votes a 2 or a 9. Same results.

Only if You know about it. How you know that 1 and 10 aren't allready droped?

Because that's not how the admins of this site operate. They tell you exactly how things work, and if there are scores for 1 and 10, then they are counted by the site. The meters are not hand counted, they are done automatically by software.

Also, the hype meter is strictly to show how many people are looking forward to the game. If someone is not looking forward to the game for whatever reason, then their vote of 1 is indeed warranted and valid, as is a vote of 10 from someone who can't wait for the game to come out.

there is a Game list on the upper-right , I am wondering what will affect the list, the score , or the the votes

Hype meters and community ratings show NOTHING about a game.  It has been proved many times here with some of the worst games out or in testing getting false ratings because of campaigns to spam high ratings.  Look at the most recent proof of this..............Voyage Century.  Though it is in my opinion a very good game of its genre, it does not deserve the ratings that it is getting now.   From looking at the status of the people voting, almost all the huge positive votes show they are all from Fuzhou, China.  I would also probably be right in a guess that they are all the same person too, who is actually affiliated with the game or IGG. 

Even the yearly awards here are not truly indicative of the current popularity trends of the MMO market as again they are ruled by campaigns to unduly influence them with spam voting.

I would say ban any and all hype votes coming from Fuzhou, China (since its easy to get a proxy setup if you know how) as it is just intended as a slam on the site.  Some networks would even consider it to be an attack, and it does fit the terms defined by alot for networks intrusions.  They really need to change the Ratings system on this site as I just laugh at how easy it is to influence them with ease.
