My idea: Have an NPC who keeps track of the top PK'ers or PvP'ers, and assigns a money value to their head. So basically, the top PvPers would have some sort of a "criminal" or "infamous" record, and the more you kill, the more you're worth if you get ganked. The pitch: Your head drops when you get killed, and is turned in for the bounty. Yea? Maybe? No?

Nice Idea but it may steer players away from PvP as a whole. Some may feel that their gameplay is always interuppted when they log on because they are always being hunted and or killed for the worth of thier head. Maybe not....decent Idea..I personally like it!

For a PVP server thats awesome. It would give room for casual PVP'ers to play because people would be too busy running after the Crazy PVP players. Good Post.

Problem with that is, the amount of world PVP that goes on, the highest bounty would be a whopping 3 tin. I dont foresee players being able to play the game normally and maintaining a worthwhile reward for their death (a la EVE).

Interesting suggestion thought.

I don't know... It's not EVE, no pirates, and the world isn't big enough to hide...

That's a good idea but shouldn't track just pk's.  People should only get flagged when they say... attack someone more then 2 lvls lower then them or engage someone with half life or less.  After so many flags with a set time (maybe every 12hrs) then they get flagged as a criminal and if killed by another player they could get some sort of rep related to bounty hunting.

I agree with kdubbed's view on the Bounty system. With that it would discourage higher players tearing apart the players much lower then them and it can make some fun for the players who are higher and want to cash in on the Bounties.
