The highly anticipated MMO receives 8 more weeks of development, allowing Funcom to deliver a more polished MMO experience when the game launches on the 20th of May 2008. Despite great feedback on vital aspects like immersion, fun factor and the exciting combat system, the management of Funcom has decided to polish the game even more. Eight weeks of development work is therefore added to stress game systems and polish the game further leading up to launch. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Source I guess this is good to make sure it is launched smoothly, but wasn't this game originally scheduled for like a 2005 or 2006 release? - Zaxx

WAR did the same thing. The fact is I applaud the decision. First mipressions upon playing a new game are extreemly important. If there are serious gameplay isues, you wil lose a LOT of people as soon as the free month is up. Playing: Everthing Played: DAoC,AC2,EvE,SWG,WAR,MXO,CoX,EQ2,L2,LOTRO,SB,UO,WoW. I have played every MMO that has ever come out.

You know as a Conan fan and someone who has been following the game for a couple years I wanna play now and I'm mad, but at the same time If they feel the game isn't there yet keep working and let me play the whole game the way it should be. Rock on Funcom give us a complete game :)
