Let's pretend we haven't seen this latest and greatest leaked beta video (ranger)... Would you pre-order the game? I've already decided to buy collector's edition few days ago, but I'm curious for the rest of you guys. Plenty of people saying that they're pre-ordering now that they have seen it.

I havent seen the video, but I was always going to pre-order anyway. However, I've cancelled my pre-order of the standard edition because I really like the look of the collectors edition, but I cant find a good supplier of it in the UK :-( |

i havent seen the video yet and i have made the pre-order for the collectors edition today so umm... yes, i dont think that one video could scare me off.. or scare me off if i havent seen it |

I was glad to see the video, but it didn't influence my decision. I've decided not to pre-order and I'll probably be waiting a month or two after release to ensure that AoC is everything I hope it will be. I've just been let down too much by recent MMOs to pre-order another one ever again:) Damn you TB and VSoH! But for those of you who do pre-order please stay active on the forums so that us who are waiting will know how the game is going. |

I was originally rooting for WAR, that was until I saw that AoC ranger vid! The combat looks fluid and enticing and it hasn't even been polished yet... That's got to say something. Pre-ordered my CE not even 5 mins ago To wank, or not to wank. The ultimate MMO sacrifice. |

In general I don't pre-order anything. Ever. I figure that I'll wait till it drops then ask around and see what people thing of it. If the game is doing well I'll probably buy it, if it's 50/50 I'll buy it and see for myself and be the judge. If it does poorly I'll find out why and then ultimately base my decision on whatever information I can find. Pre-ordering as well as waiting in line for anything for more then 5 minutes is just beyond me. Never understood those people. No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga- |

I've literally lost sleep after watching that ranger video. I couldn't stop thinking of character names. Uggh! I'm such a dork :( I'm so stoked about AoC now. |

Already pre-ordered mine, even before the ranger-video. What can I say, nothing else really appeals to me right now, so I'm putting my hope there. ^_^ |

Back on topic, I have not seen any videos for AoC, but from all I've read, I have pre-ordered. Lack of playable games out at this time, companies closing doors, canceling projects played a part in my decision, and from what I've seen this game is the one in the near/far future to invest any amount of time and money into. See y'all ingame. |

I acually preordered the game last Friday, the day I heard Gamestop was accepting preorders. I had my mind made up on this game back in 2006 at DragonCon when I met and talked with the devs (and again in 2007). My mind is still made-up and my hope and faith in this game has not changed since then. |
