Hah, then everyones comments would be for nothing and the forums is mainly a place to discuss threads. Also I think it would mess up their system for rankings. |

As some of the above users mentioned, allowing users to delete their own threads woul discredit every replier and essentially give the OP moderation powers within their own realm. While this isn't an option, I'll look into allowing user post deletions. No promises, though! |

I don't like the idea myself, neither for personal thread deletion OR personal post deletion. Too many cowards who like to post crap and then delete it before it can be moderated or they can be penalized (warned/banned/whatever).
How many threads of : "mmorpg.com are fascist goldsellers in league with Satan and they worship SOE!!!!11!111111" do you really want to see popping in and out of the forums every couple minutes (such as some I've seen lately by "disgruntled" people om this site).
Nope, let the mods handle the deletes. Works much better. |
