It will be good a cloak or something so you know who you dealing with .I dont know how will be affected characters details but it will be awsome some guild designs.

I definitely think this would be a great idea for guilds and would add a lot to the game. Though something else that would be rather nice to see is being able to put that symbol or coat of arms onto a battle standard / flag that say key members like commanders in the guild could wear on there horses or backs into battle. As for the actual designs of the coat of arms I would like to see something a bit more creative then something like WoW's guild tabard system.

Personally I think that we are not going to be able to design our own. It will most likely be like other games Guild Wars or WoW for example where you can select a guild tabard or clan design from stock images.

If they were to allow people to design their own you will get, swear/racist words or symbols.

However, I do know that quite a few of the devs have expressed this idea as good in the past.

I think that in game guild heraldry is a pretty neat and unique thing. The guild i'm in has been making images for this potential implementation of sometime now. 99% Confident it wont happen at launch but 50/50 as for a future inclusion considering the size and numbers of guild out their already!

That is something AOC devs shouldnt even have us wondering about.....I mean AOC is all about PVP and guilds vs guilds it should be implemented . I would go further and have even guild Banners or flags on keeps , guardians or shield wearing classes should be able to have amblems on shields etc.

guild's own coat or something like that would be neat, yah but now that i think of the idea; i would rather want to take a guild tattoo or some odd mark in my face as an emblem .. or something like that. im sure lots of tribes in real world had such things and im not sure if it would be against the conan lore either

They could have an emblem system similar to that on Rappelz.  To any that have not seen is, the guild leader has to upload their own .jpg picture into the game, and i think after the next maintenance it would appear as the guilds new symbol. 

Just an idea, it could work that way.

Haha, no I am not, but it would look that way wouldnt it.  I am just bored right now, looking up stuff on mmorpg.com.  And since I left a few posts in some AoC forums, every time you leave a new post it gives me an email  so it would seem you and me are the only people watching the AoC forusm at this time. lol
