The actual game right now its 50$ how much longer do you guys think till it drops to 30$?  I would like t obuy this game but 50$ is not that much I want to spend because then I gotta pay a monthly fee which adds up fast.  Anybody got any ideas?

30 days after Santa uses AoC as coal in the bad children's stockings, FunCom will be moving the game into bargain bins and begging for customers who haven't heard about it yet.

To be honest, the game price wont drop for some time, they need their cash flow from the retail box scam.

I'd have thought the price will only go up once the beta finishes!

I got mine for £15 ($30) at launch, Game.co.uk looks like were having problems getting pre-orders and so got mine for that price and I think a lot of ppl in the UK did.

Do you have a job?

I bought a 4-core CPU, 4GB RAM and an Nvidia 280 with all the bells and whistles...  $50 is cheap.

Just a suggestion.

I see it being in the big white box at Walmart next to Horizons, Leisure Suite Larry 8, and Ataris top 50 games for the PC in about 4 or 5 more months.

It depends on how well it sells.

My guess, at the earliest, would be Feb of 2009.

You should be able to mow enough lawns or flip enough burgers to make up that extra $20, though.  It's summertime, right?
