Spell weaving looks groovy but zoning in out of EVERYTHING in that game is a real turn off to me.

i dont understand what Im looking at. Is that some sorta attack ? It sure was slow. All I saw was effects, nothing attacked in those clips.

then gtfo of Tortage asap. Seriously, I can play for several hours without zoning ONCE in other parts of the game.

By far the best spell effect I've seen on MMORPGs so far. Really cool!

I believe that spell weaving is the generic name given to the process that casters can use to overpower their spells.....but it comes at a cost.   Spell weaving causes the strength of the spells to grow over time that it is cast, hence why it takes so long.  Hence spell weaving is not the standard power of spells that are cast.

Oh I see, sorta like winding up for full effect. I can see this being useful for soloing an elite type mob or maybe a raid - boss scenario.

demonologist was my chosen class before this video, looks like I got a nice lookin spell weave coming to me hehe

Interesting that they used a PoM to demonstrate. I could see that in a two man group, depending on the damage. Have a tank with  HP pots run in and pull the boss(and minions) and have him run back whent ht caster was ready to let fly. Maybe wipe any minions out and then have the PoM heal the tank to beat the tar out of the boss (and/or any baby minions left over). Especially functional if the PoM has a repulse waiting to go asa soon as this big nasty spell goes boom. Repulse pushes eveything back, tank does a shield sweep (or some other AoE) everything dies quickly. Good loot drops.

2+ minutes long and all that happened was he built some statues. I imagine that spell will be pretty great if you can manage to stay awake long enough to see what happens. 

The first few times yeah, I agree, it's pretty cool. By the 50th time, it's just seems like it's going to be tedious.

Even with trying to block off the caster using the collision detection, it's not useful for PvP. An arrow or a spell will disrupt it just as easily as a sword or axe.

I could care less what the guy's voice sounds like. People in different countries don't speak the same as you. Welcome to the world.

In game it's active. You have to keep up or the spell will backfire and possibly kill you.
