Initially maybe. In the long run ? No.

Many people want consentual Pvp, they get that on PvE servers. Very few people want FFA. Some loudmouths spewing crap on forums don't change that.

its nice the server names are out but they didnt say which time zones they apply to.  thats a huge problem because of lockout timers for the siege battles for people playing on PST they cannot play on a EST server or they will NEVER be able to siege after 9pm which is just way too early.  Hopefully they post what servers will be what times before launch

FFA PvP everywhere on PvP servers - except hubs/cities/towns - On PvE servers PvP in the world can only be found in the Border Kingdoms.

No realms in this game (thank god) No factions either, There are 20 seperate lvls of PvP with ranks and rewards. You are free to kill any class - no restrictions.

Serious debuff, some say its a gankfest, they just let the whole world have PvP in the final days of Open Beta. The PvP server rules set will be out soon - they just released the RP-PvP one.

Depending upon how pvp is implemented, Im leaning towards the one rp-pvp server. Hopefully there will actually be some rp on it.

you cant attack anyone in your group...you'd need to disband from group first

they're going to need more than one RP-PVP server, I think.

Does anyone have a quote or a link for the rules on the RP-PvP server?  I'm really interested to see what makes it different, but I didn't see an official post anywhere...

Just one question about the RP-PVP. Will it be heavily moderated. I m not much of an RPer myself, but i dont go running around screaming PWNZORS and stuff like that.

I want to play on a pvp server and usually RP or lore rulesets tend to bring out the best of the community, which strikes me as a big problem in any of the normal ffa servers

Free for All PvP on the designated PvP serversPvE servers permit PvP but it's consensual. All parties must agree. A  bit like sex...(unless you're married..then someone usually disagrees but  'takes one for the team')
