No i dont think so. What could be a problem is that they sell out of boxed copies on the pre orders. That would mean a shortage of in store copies, dont forget all those online pre orders, they will be sent a hard copy too.

As of Noon 5/14 CST .. early access for USA is OFF.  There are no options to upgrade account if you have your key.

Not the most stellar of beginnings.   I'd really would like to see someone start to give WoW a bit of competition and it would be nice if AoC could be one of those games.

Let's see if Funcom can pull it out of this PR mess before more articles/blogs like this show up.

that article....i have to disagree with the wow killer part. No where did they state this was going to compete with wow, and logically no game will ever touch wow's numbers. sorry.

Yeah that articule is a little off. And i agree, funcom never said they wanted to compete with wow directly or even be the #1 mmo, which is just stupid to even think of doing right now.

funny. I just did that.

i could not download 11 gig in 2-5 days even when my internet was at its peak speed.  damn government and their crappy broadband funding.

I havent gotten any email about anything to do with early acces, preordered this game months ago too, got a code for my rhino.  But i dont even give a rats ass about that really I just wanted in the game a little early.  GoGamer sold the preorder with "INCLUDES EARLY ACCESS TO THE GAME" stamped on the main page.  Today I get a bleak surprise.  Somebody...Funcom or GoGamer...have something screwed up here.  Anyway....this really pissed in my corn flakes to say the least.

I thank God everyday that I'm me.. and not someone who just canceled Age of Conan :)
