AoC---OB working great for me on my Toshiba gaming laptop!  Can't wait for retail, and I really can't wait to play it on my Xbox 360!

The game is FEAST FOR THE EYES.

I just enabled shadows (under ctrl+right shift+c) and it added a new layer for reality.

I wish I can show you some screenshots from some carnage I had... but I think this is all I could, it's on Tortage teritory, accessible to level 13.

So those players on close beta PvP server did not saw much of the world ?

Why bother with open beta (smoke screen), AoC is way (over)hyped and they could easily skip open beta and they WOULD sell way way more pre orders.  Since open beta players are aware of performance issues, game mehanics, glorified combat system etc...

Before open beta the game was considered truly next gen MMO, and now some like it some dont.

Would you agree that if Funcom would made much much more money on pre orders if they would not release open beta ?

If their intenstion with open beta was not to test the game and performance why do it ?
( they sure are aware of issues they have as they should be considering that close beta is running since April 07 )
