Please Turbine, now when you have at least 300-400k subscribers from all your current games it would be possible to re-lunch Asheron's Call 2 servers. I realize it's probably not very-business wise at this stage, but there were still around 10k players at its termination and it would highly increase the company popularity by reopening one of the best MMO's ever made - AC2! REALITY CHECK |

Lawl AC > AC2 by far. Maybe that would be why AC is still running and AC2 is dead. Current: Puzzle Pirates |

AC2 had 10-15k subscribers when it died. AC has about that now but its cheaper to run.. Anyway, AC2 isn't coming back. They aren't going to go through the cost of launching it, or putting it on a server. Plus, I think they see LOTRO as the spiritual successor to AC2. Wish I was wrong, but sadly I think thats the truth. |

Hmm I'd rather see an updated AC engine with better graphics before I see AC2 re-opened *shutters* |

I played it for a little while, but I thought it wasn't very good. It's hard to remember exactly what it was like though as it was a while ago. You could always go play LOTRO as it's made by the same people. |

As long as Microsoft or Sony isn't involved, AC3 would have alot more going for it than AC2 did. However if Turbine hasn't currently been working on this game, then we wont see it for 3+ years. _________________________________ Currently Playing: Eve-Online Achiever 47% / Explorer 40% / Killer 87% / Socializer 27% |

I'd resub to AC2 if they brought it back. Even if they offered no new content to the game and only fixed the criical bugs or exploits that came up. Towards the end AC2 was a fantastic game. I loved the expansion and playing a drudge and the new content. Turbine has to be working on something. Least I hope they are working on some new project. BTW Turbine we want a SOE type station pass for your games at a low price! .. .... .- - . - .-. --- .-.. .-.. ... .-- .... --- .-. . .--. --- .-. - .-.-.- |

Yes please, somehow I just didn't quite feel ripped off enough the first time they charged full price for an expansion for a game they knew was being shutdown and offered no refunds. Lets do that again ! |

Originally posted by HoldMe Haha, yeah talk about getting ripped. They gave the expansion only a few months before announcing it was canceled. Even while it was known the game was being shut down, the expansion was still on the shelves being sold! It's one of the reasons I didn't try D&D or LotRO aside from the fact that those games have their own problems as it is. _________________________________ Currently Playing: Eve-Online Achiever 47% / Explorer 40% / Killer 87% / Socializer 27% |
