Yes it is infact true! Thang Global will be returning in the coming months of 2011!

The owner of the massively popular MMORPG 'Thang Global' has decided to open this game back to the public!

1.)    Plans have been made to obtain an official Thang Global domain and upload a much more functional and professional website once this site has established at least 800 members.

2.)    If work proceeds as intended, the official Thang Global website will be up and running before February.

3.)    Once the site is up funding and marketing will be on-going until the game is able to launch.

4.)    For a solid investment the owner wants to launch secure bug free game. Fixing the bugs will take time.

5.)    Until the official site launches, feel free to introduce yourself on the forums and chat about Thang! Every signup counts!

If you like this game, or perhaps just a interested gamer. Check the temporary 'bridge site' out. Feel free to introduce yourself on the forums until the official Thang Global domain can be established, and the client can be updated and be fully operational/100% bug free! SIGN UP! EVERY REGISTRATION COUNTS! :)

Not sure weither or not to take this seriously, since the user formally known as Silver-Gamer decided to delete himself after this post.

Game looks kind of interesting in the screenshots on here though, been craving an isometric mmo once again, guess i'll have to keep an eye out.

It returned and it's even worse than before. Don't waste your time on it.

Where are we going and why am I in this basket?

The game had gotten some changes, but  bugs are still galore, the buddy-buddy system is in place as in people who buy a lot of game item mall currency are allowed to even break the ToS of the game, has no security whatsoever and what is worse, the password is not encrypted so any "administrator" can log in on your account.  if there really will be a server opened in the US, I can see a lot of lawsuits and damages required.

Anyway, despite the few "die-hards" who are trying desperately to pump their economies in the game to save it, the owner is still looking for freebies. Their last thing is "game designed by players for players". Of course, players willl do that for free.  It has no paid staff and is all based on volunteering, despite the hefty income the owner cashes monthly.

I stand behind what I said previously.

Where are we going and why am I in this basket?

Interesting topic nonetheless. Used to play this game. Even the slightest hint of the game coming back alive would be funny to see.

Going hard

Looks like not many players are going to play this game again. Played Thang Global like 3 years ago, has something changed or is it the same old grinding MMORPG?
