anyone played this? i'd like to hear a little casual review, just lately i dont have the time to play... wow, xmas partying, and work....

The screenshots only show scenery so I suspect that nobody has "played" the game yet.  Too early in development I'd guess.  I love the idea.  Feudal Japan is an excellent world for role playing.  There was on old p+p RPG called Bushido that some friends and I used to enjoy.  The description of Tatsumaki suggests it will be quite different from the average mmorpg.  Many common elements will be left out.  Unfortunately they don't tell us much about what the game WILL have.  It's a bit annoying when games advertise that players will be able to do anything they want.  That's a dodge.  Tell us what activities (pve, pvp, crafting, RP, questing, etc) will be developed and supported to the point that we can have fun doing them for an extended period of time.  I will follow the development of this one closely.  Just having the ability to take a stroll through 15th century Kyoto gets me excited.
