Hero's Journey News - Exclusive Screen, Week #43

Today we take a look at how art translates to reality in Hero's Journey. On the left we have some concept art of a building, while on the right we have the final finished product.

Thanks to Simutronics for providing these.

There's alot of movement in the picture, too much if you ask me. The shot borders on manic. IMO it would have done better as a video ;) Just a planted camera with 10 seconds of record time would do it.. No need to move around as the shot would do that itself.

Meh...I guess to the common eye. But I am a freshman in an Art college(Savannah College of Art and Design) and alot of the guys in my dorm who are juniors who are studying concept art have MUCH more amazing concept art than that. Its literally breathtaking. Just saying that that is not "extraordinary".

I think there are one or two people that work at simutronics that went to SCAD, I read an article about some guy named Aron  Zoellner who works there as a game artist and from what I saw is pretty freakin good, so I would contact him if you think your so good and see if you can cut it in the industry, maybe you could send him your stuff and see what he thinks, I bet you will be suprised with what he would have to say about your artwork.  I think that the artwork is fabulous so don't think you or your so-called friends are any better.
