would be a nice touch if you folks over at simu brought some of the NPC 's, merchants, and other related themes from Gemstone or Dragonrealms into these games.

It's just a nice touch, in some respects, and people moving over will probably appreciate the touch. (overdoing it would probably be a bad idea, but you know, Sproink is a pretty popular merchant these days).

Think "Cid" in the Final Fantasy series.

I was thinking about Cid when I had began reading your post. ::::01:: However, though you can most likely plan on seeing some flavors of GS4, DR and Elanthia in general in the game (I'd love to see some ruins of Crossing or Wehnimer's Landing), don't expect to see the names of NPC's you might recognize -- to this date it's still a hotly debated topic on whether GS exists before, after or during DR times, but I'm almost certain that HJ is going to be waaaay before or waaaay after the current games. It's likely those folks might not exist yet... or they may have been dead for a thousand years, though business does tend to run in the family for quite some time now, eh? ::::19::

There are a few places that are safe to hide in, and the mind is not one of them.

Heh, running into a 6,000 year old Kssarh after dwelling in his self loathing for that long probably wouldn't be a pleasant experience. (Although as most Moon Mages know, it's not now.)

Personally, I'd love to see Kssarh in HJ. Maybe then (GM willing) I can finally do what I've always wanted to do...
