OK I've started playing LOTRO from FFXI from Gemstone IV....

One thing I've noticed consistantly in all 3 is a general lack of UI customization. FFXI wasn't too bad, it was fairly un-obtrusive smaller icons and items... LOTRO is much larger and in your face... Gemstone IV had little to no customization.

Why not give us full (and I mean FULL) customization over the UI? We're not just talking WindowsBlinds type of customization, but full tear down, build up, sizeable, changable, moveable, editable, Linux-style customization. Probably done through editing an XML or something. I know your systems are fairly dynamic as it is, this would just appease a lot of gamers I know (including of course myself).

It would really be a plus in the favor of the game. I don't really think it would draft new players, but it would keep existing players and really open the eyes of the gaming community, players and developers alike.
