For those of you interested, we are now accepting applications for Development Game Master positions.  These are offsite positions that will have you developing game systems using our custom game engine and scripting language.  Please visit this page for further details.

Information on the HeroEngine can be found here.

Please note that there is an online programming test associated with the application.

Good luck!

You wouldn''t flame a monkey with glasses, would you?

Cool, sounds like progress is being made. I'm extremely curious to see how the offsite development process works out, as it's something I've never seen done on a large scale before.

Apply then don't just talk about it in these forums !!! And if you do get in it will be much more constructive and rewarding than trawling forums...

"We''re not making a game for Trekkies" Daron Stinnett, Perpetual Entertainment

Sounds great!  I love the idea of part-time free labor with the potential of profits/payment for labor once the game launches.  It can be a win-win situation for everyone.

This company here has a good reputation, but let me tell you about what happened to a friend of mine.  He was working for a development company making $5,000 a month plus 5,000 shares of stock a month.  He did this for two years.  Once the project was complete they owners sold the software to Microsoft.  The sad part is, my friend's last check for $5,000 from the company also had print on it the same color of the check that basically said by cashing this $5,000 check he was selling back all his stock in the company to the owners.  Bottom line, he lost in court and on appeal.  The company got his 120,000 shares of stock a months worth of work for $5,000.

Just becareful of any contracts you get into over the internet (or in person for that matter) and make sure you have an attorney check everything out before you sign anything.
