Although many MMORPG fans are looking forward to the releases of Everquest 2 and World of Warcraft, a substantial following has sprung up around Horizons: Empire of Istaria, from new independent house Artifact Entertainment. The game's currently in closed beta, but co-president and creative director, David Bowman, former Asheron's Call developer at Turbine, was on hand to take us for a guided tour around its world.
