Zenren writes: This game is great! It's free and it's a blast to play. Although it's not a roleplaying game, per se, it does have levels and as you level you increase your skills. The higher your level, the more accurate you can be with your shots. However I've seen 8th level players with an 8 handicap... so you don't have to be high level to be great. The game also has great graphics and sound, the music however is a little off the wall for me. I truly enjoyed playing this game and I've gotten to 13th level so far. I can see where this is a game I'll play, even if I'm playing something else, because I can drop in and play 3 to 6 holes anytime I want. You also are encouraged to play in groups, not only because the experience is better, but also you tend to earn more money. The graphics are pretty good, especially the background scenery and foliage. The music is freaking annoying, but that's only because my spouse in the same room insists on having it set to "on". Roleplay is as good as one could expect for a golf game. It is fun, though the first 15 levels are ridiculously difficult. Community is pretty laid back, not a whole lot of immature powergamers here. The game has me getting angry because it doesn't seem to feed players enough information to make a well calculated shot. Just when you think you've got it down...nope! Putting is a beast. Maybe the math is right and I'm a lousy golfer. The world may never know. Fun to play with friends, easy to get groups and meet new people. I say play it. If you don't like it, it was free.
