Nexon America, the North American subsidiary of Tokyo-based NEXON Co., LTD. (“Nexon”) (3659.TO), a worldwide leader in free-to-play (F2P) online games, today unveiled the fall content update for MapleStory, one of their most beloved titles. Currently celebrating its 8th anniversary, MapleStory will be ringing in the season by offering players new quests and valuable in-game items.
Just in time for Halloween, players can hunt monsters for Witch Malady and retrieve Dark Tokens that can be exchanged for rare equipment and items. Additionally, players who meet and accept Olivia’s mission will explore the Haunted Mansion to fight various monstrous toys. Players can also visit Maple Castle to help Empress Cygnus put together a spooktacular Halloween party.
Players who are at Level 130 and above can explore Crimsonheart Castle, a theme dungeon based on Crimsonwood Keep. Level 135 players and above will be able to visit the Shadow Veil Forest, a map where the route changes every two hours. Finally, players who reached Level 140 can test their skills by fighting the giant boss “Gollux” in a series of epic boss battles taking place in the heart of Shadow Veil Forest.
