  • Update 8 Tour

    MMORPG.com columnist Jaime Skelton recently had the opportunity to tour Dungeons & Dragons Online Update 8 with Turbine developers. Update 8 is scheduled to launch today, Monday, December 13th with a new adventure pack and new store items.   • Festivult 2010 Arrives

    Dungeons & Dragons Online has put up the decorations and prepared the holiday fare for Festivult 2010. The Turbine team has activities, quests and rewards to hand out to good little elves, humans and orcs. In addition, one Turbine Store item per day will be put on special sale in celebration of Advent.

  • Lamannia Test Server Preview Notes

    Turbine and the Dungeons & Dragons Online team have posted a preview of changes coming soon to the Lamannia test servers. Included in the update is a new adventure pack called Siege of Stormreach, armor appearance kits, cookie jars to keep special event foodstuffs in, UI changes and improvements and general changes to hirelings. Also several bug fixes and balance issues will be addressed.

  • Update 7: Half-Bloods Now Live; Festival Event Begins!

    Update 7: Half Bloods, the latest update to Turbine's Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited is now live. Highlights of Update 7 include two new races, the Half-Orc and Half-Elf, the addition of a new free adventure pack, and a new premium Raid.

  • Update 7 Screens

    Turbine calls Update 7 for Dungeons & Dragons Online the largest content update so far. Called "Half-Bloods", Update 7 is set to go live later this fall. It brings the half-Elf and half-Orc character races into the game as well as a new free zone called the Droaam Adventure Pack. Update 7 will also see some significant changes to the UI.   • PAX Update

    At the recent PAX Prime convention, MMORPG.com writer Carolyn Koh had the opportunity to talk with Adam Mersky, Director of Communication at Turbine about Update 7 scheduled to arrive in October. Update 7 will bring Half-Elves and Half-Orcs online as playable races as well as the Devil Assault 12-man raid. Update 7 will be released on the public test server very soon.   • Half Elf & Half Orc Revealed

    Dungeons & Dragons Online fans will have two new races to play when Update 7 goes live later this year. Turbine introduced the Half Elf and the Half Orc at this weekend's PAX in Seattle, Washington and also revealed a few other details about the next patch. Update 7, the largest this year, will feature a 12-man raid, a free quest line, and will DX-11 support.

  • Update 6 Tour

  • Red Fens Content Update Launched

    Turbine has announced that the sixth content update for Dungeons & Dragons Online has launched. The update includes a new adventure pack called the Red Fens as well as dozens of new items in the DDO store. Items include Ninja Masks, guest passes for the Red Fens adventure pack, shock weapons and bundled items.

  • Claw of Vulkoor Screens

    Turbine has sent out five new screenshots from the Claw of Vulkoor quest line that will go live when Update 6 arrives on all Dungeons & Dragons Online servers. The Claw of Vulkoor quest asks players to escort tribal warriors through a cave (and critter) filled hillside. This quest takes place in the new Red Fens zone.

  • First Screen of Underwater Combat

    Dungeons & Dragons Online developer, Turbine Studios, has released the first image from its upcoming adventure pack named "Into the Deep". The new adventure pack will be released with Update 6 which will also feature a new area called The Red Fens.

  • Update 5 Now Live

    Turbine has officially pushed out Update 5 to live servers today. Update 5 brings major new guild features to the game, including a new guild leveling system, guild bases in the form of customizable airships, and guild trophies. This latest update also brings a new "Phiarlan Carnival" adventure pack to the game, along with new Bard & Favored Soul hirelings, Monk & Cleric adjustments, new spells for Sorcerers, new feats for Rogues and Warriors, and new traps for Rogues.

    Turbine has released four new screenshots from the upcoming Update 5 to Dungeons & Dragons Online. The new shots give us a glimpse at the "Partycrashers" adventure that will be included as part of the Carnival of Shadows adventure pack coming with Update 5.

  • Turbine Rescinds Offer Wall Due to Player Feedback

    The overwhelmingly negative feedback from players has led to Turbine pulling the plug on the newly released Offer Wall feature. Many of the complaints revolved around the lack of security of the Offer Wall, as it had been reported to be transmitting players' login names and e-mail addresses simply for viewing the offers. Turbine admits that the Offer Wall was "a poor user experience that was not up to our standards, and for this we apologize." As a result, the Offer Wall has been taken down.
