The first novel based on Turbine's Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited has been released. Called "The Shard Axe", the novel was written by Marsheila Rockwell.

Reported on Aug 17, 2011Turbine has announced the latest update to Dungeons & Dragons Online. Update 11: Secrets of the Artificer is set to go live in September and will bring the Artificer class into the game as well as new quests, a new quest hub and new crafting levels among other things.

The new Harbinger of Madness adventure pack introduces updates to Crafting, improvements made to Bluff, Diplomacy and Intimidate, and other new features. Expect to see new attack animations, boosted spells, and more prestige Enhancement lines.

Paiz welcomes the international players to the game and then briefly discusses the fact that a firm update schedule for the balance of the year is already in place, with Update 9 almost literally around the corner.
