The enemy is so dumb! They believe that WE are the enemy! - A famous orc commander.

Reading from the FAQ.

They have a ''War Forged'' races available at release, but after a quick browsing, no info on it.  If a D&D veteran like me is clueless, I assume I am not alone, is a ''War Forged'' something similar to Birthright or what?

Solo VS group:  Silly thing about this game is...in conventional D&D, solo is easier at higher levels and harder at lower levels, not the opposite, silly devs.  You can try to convince me a level 1 is better at soloing and progressing then Drizzt, Elminster or Raistlin, but you will be wasting your time!  All of them where unable to solo at level 1, and start soloing at a later point, all of them.  In fact, when they group, they level slower, because they share their XP and do most of the job while leeches benefit from it(hehe nice way to talk about Caramon or Cattie-Brie).

In a minute there is time for decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse.

I'm not a D&D veteran so I don't know if a "War forged" is anything like a Birthright. However I do know that it might not be similar to anything in the earlier eras of the D&D series. The game is supposed to take place in a new campaign that is coming out soon. Said a small thing about it here in the FAQ with a link to more about the new campaign/world or whatever they decided to call it. So there’s a chance it is a completely new concept and that’s why you didn’t recognize it (that or they just renamed an old one…).

Warforged are sentient golem type constructs.  Originally, they were created to be used as war machines, but at some point some became sentient.  They have special feats like adamantite (equivalent to heavy armor) body or mithral (equivalent to mail armor) body and also, they cannot regenerate hitpoints naturally, ie. no natural resting to regain.  Standard healing spells do work on them 50%, while there is a special line of Cure Mechanism or something like that, made specifically to heal them.  There is also a skill, repair warforged, that lets a character repair one, but it takes 8 hours and is vs. an intellect roll.  They are mainly tanks, but can even be rogues rangers etc according to Eberron Rules.  If you want more data see the link below for the Wizards of the Coast Website:

Hope this helps ya some.  ;)  Peace.

No matter how subtle the wizard, a knife in his back will seriously cramp his style.

War Forged are a Eberron race, sentient semi-mechanical/golem types. I imagine their existance will be a great source of mood breaking annoyance to those who have never played Eberron like us and older D&D players who don't care for the steam-punk motif thats being pushed these days.
