Yes yes if you look down at my sig pic i play WoW so far i have a 50 human rogue and having a blast. But i was searching around here other day and remembered about DDO and said hell with it ill check it out and downloaded that video where it shows them running around a dungeon  . And i have to say that game is damn impressive looking , the combat and just the spells are awesome. This game actually would pull me away from WoW and i might get flamed for this but i mean i nvr played PnP DnD at all . What makes me really pull into this game is actually they have DUNGEONS , where there is REAL traps and actually its just not a hack fest (rogues are finally used for what they are good for !). I like the races and the classes are awesome IMO if i do play Cleric or ranger for me. Plus i read up some more and looked that killing monsters over and over is not getting you the xp its actually COMPLETING the quest  is what is going to reward your xp. Its just the fact that i know there is gonna be points in a instance dungeon and just be like wow and ask yourself where else can i get this at.  Anyways im really hyped about this game only bummer is no PvP but like the point is that if this PvE sounds that damn good i wont need pvp.

Yah, Rogues are my second favorite class, and least useful in most MMO's.  I really hope rogues don't get the shaft from DDO. ;)  I also hope that rangers abilities (ie my favorite class) aren't useless as they are in EQ1.  WoW has given the hunter class a good boost over many of the other MMO's, but ranged attacks are still not very well depicted.

Well, you have to remember this game is based off D&D, a game old, and revised so many times it's damn near perfectly balanced, structurised and ofcourse quite fun. I've been playing pnp games for years, I've also played the other D&D computer games, and from what I've seen in the gameplay movie, this game is the closest thing to the feel of real d&d. And when I say that, know that imo, if they even come half as close to the game feeling of D&D it will rock your sox off.

As for the rogue's I can tell you that by directly copy pasting even half of the rogue's ability's from pnp dnd, it will be unlike any rogue in other mmorpgs. It sertainly won't be a simple archer class, or dagger wielding backstabber class, it'll be like a how a true rogue should be. That being an inventive, sneaky, jack of all trades kind of class (aka, many, largely rogue only skills), with some kick ass rogueish offensive ability's that puts any assasin in bad light.. So basicly it'll make you actually play a rpg, instead of a hack and slash game, where it's grind, grind, grind untill your strong enough to go pvp'ing.
