Has this re-sparked anyone's interest in 3.x? I am a big fan of ODnD and ADnD but playing DDO has made me appreciate the elegance of the 3.x rules set. I have played DnD3.x before and I will probably get back to using 3.x if I can find a group locally.

i play it now that its free and i love what they have done with it.  However it seems like repair prices and prices in general are so so high. It is either the prices are so high or if i had pay to play i would find more money. still worth playing though

D&D Online is set in one of two campaign settings I never cared for: Eberron.

My gaming group plays 3.5, 4E, or now that it's out, Pathfinder. Whenever we get a wild hair I drag out my Rifts books and crazy hijinks ensue. But DDO will likely never trigger any nostalgic feeling for me.

Same here - I'd stuck with 1st edition until I started playing DDO. I like 3.5 a lot.. I might do Pathfinder, but not 4E.
