I especially encourage you to review that section:

And if you're just starting to experiment, without much D&D knowledge, this is a must:

I'm positive about what I play. If it ends & I get negative, I move on. This is how we not troll.

Thanks for doing this Papadam .

And here's site in-production for POLISH players of D&D Online:

www.ddoworld.pl

www.forum.ddoworld.pl

It's only forum to date, but there you can join my guild or various others, discuss many D&D Online aspects, builds, classess, ask for help in Polish. I've joined ddoworld team recently, and I'm going to help them.
Ah, someone made mistake in that banner - it's not going to be WORD of DDO but WORLD .

Zapraszam! ;)

Very useful links and thanks for posting them.

Yeah, thanks for posting something so useful.

I will be joining the game with the new release. I've always wanted to try the game, but never had a good excuse to. This will be the perfect opportunity.

And those sites all seem informative.

Now if only they'd send me a beta key I can get underway!

Thanks for the info. One thing I've been unable to find, what about old players? I have characters, but haven't revisited DDO for a year or more. I'm hopeful that my account just rolls in to the free acount so I still have my chars. Any idea? I can't find any info on that in the FAQs.

Think this is what you are looking for:

"Q. What happens to my characters?
A. Your characters are never deleted by Turbine! As a VIP who downgraded to a Free player, you'll have four character slots. When you enter the game as a Free player you'll be asked which characters you wish to unlock for these slots. If you'd like to unlock an additional character, you must purchase a slot for it. However, when you purchase this slot you'll also be given the option to exchange the characters in any previously unlocked slots with any of your locked characters."
