You might want to post what server your character is on.  It would also help if you posted your class/race and play style or what you are looking for in terms of a guild.

On a side note, yes, I believe a good guild can REALLY help you in DDO.  It can be hard to solo content at times depending on your build and sometimes hand-me-down gear is better than getting bad pulls in the starter content.

You would do better by joining a guild of the players you're grouping with.  Pick up groups are the best way to meet new people and one of the only ways to know if their guild is a good community.

Lot's of X's in your name.  We used to make lots of jokes of players in Diablo who did that...
