Hello everyone, as this is my first post at mmorpg.com I apologize if this topic has been discussed before.

I started playing DDO when it was first released in Feb, 06. I found the game interesting at first, but, eventually got tired of it due to lack of content. They have indeed expanded and improved much of the game, but what bothered me the most is almost being "required" to have 6 players in each group. Sometimes I would want to group with just my 3 friends. I did not mind it becoming more difficult to complete the quest with just 4 people, but rather was annoyed that the experience remained the same. Can anyone tell me if they have changed this at all??

My suggestion to turbine would be make changes to accomodate smaller grouping. This would help everyone because from what I've heard it doesn't have so many active players at the moment -- which could make finding groups much easier.

Hi Zpenergy,

I play with two other friends. One plays a rogue, the other a ranger, and I play a cleric. Not the most awesome combo, but we have fun because we play to hang out. We manage quite a few quests as a trio and sometimes import a mage or a tank. If I had to change something, I would make the ranger a tank character. But I tank okay as a cleric. We are now mid level after playing for 3 months for a few hours each week, and the experience keeps improving. Yeah, sometimes we get wiped, but often those are the most entertaining moments (even if they are our last, haha). I haven't played any other mmorgp so I can't give you another perspective.

You can't like everything, or be liked by everything.

Pash
