Well, I have only been playing DDO for a few weeks now. So I am still somewhat of a noob to this game. I have been playing MMO's ever since the first UP beta though, so I have a lot of MMO experience. Also, I have been playing D&D since it consisted of only two plain beige paperback books. Also, I have been using the internet since before the world wide web existed. So these are partially educated notions of mine, but all in all they are 'just that'. Notions.

1. It is extremely frustrating for me, being a person who enjoys solo'ing more than party'ing, when I get 90% of the way through a quest and I die and then have to start it all over again with nothing to show for it. I think you should get XP for all of the kills you get whether you complete the quest or not. Which doesn't nescessarily have to be a lot. The big XP bonuses can be given when the quest is completed still. That way I wouldn't feel like I just wasted an hour or two when I die near the end of a solo quest. Either that, or make it possible to self-rez at any ressurection shrines you have come across in the dungeon you are in, so you don't have to start all over again.

That for me is the single most discouraging thing in the game for a solo player. It is something that I could see making me eventually tire of the game. As I said, I do enjoy solo'ing a lot. I also go off in a party now and then as well and have a good time, but I am a lone-wolf by nature.

2. How about some fun outside of instances. I enjoy going into the woods and into the steam tunnels and getting random small encounters, but there should be more of them and repeating, not just pre-configured encounters.

3. MORE VENDORS..MORE VENDORS..MORE VENDORS!!

4. An easier to read/navigate Map for when you are wandering the town/port.

That's all that comes to mind right now. Good chance these were already recommended by others, but I was in a big rush and just found this forum and won't have a chance to scour through the piles of posts until tomorrow. Take care all!
