Resurecting a long lost name for the sake of current mmo boredum. Do you want a shadowbane?

No since we already have darkfall. Its too late.

But id still like to see that game coming back. we need Sandbox mmorpg to take over and we need all of them. Shadow bane before an other release would just need more work to match the mechanism that we have nowadays.

1st, full revamp of the control. I want to move with WASD.

2nd, animation need to be done better then the way it was before.

At last, graphics need to change.

After all that, the game will be perfect.

 If only darkfall was third person view, first person makes some people sick to thier stomach literally

 Giving the old whore a new coat of paint is a waste of time. You either love her for what she was or you never really knew her at all.

I wish they brought that game back.

I think one server at a reduced subscription would net decent profit.

maybe 4.99 a month and keep one or two devs for bugs and balancing.

And that's why no one gets breast implants, liposuction, botox and all that to keep looking young...oh wait...

I would love to see a modern Shadowbane, especially with the classes and races it had. Add some shinier graphics and a modern control system and I'm set.

Shadowbane was awesome, although I only found it after its relaunch back in 2008 I played a ton of it.  I would welcome a new Shadowbane, or even Ubi relaunching it with a sub fee(or selling it to another company)

 First should be fixing the bugs that never got fixed.  Even when they did bring it back the first time I crashed to desktop within five minutes.  Loaded up again and I fell through the ground.

Or just wait for the SB Emu thats in development.

Shadowbane and Darkfall are two totally different types of games.

I think i may be the only person to ever enjoy the combat the second i started playing the game.

If someone did make a revamp i would want it to be iso view with point to click movement.

Shadowbane for me felt like a true mmo, darkfall is like this half baked Half life fantasy mod with a ton of skill grinding.

its not the same.

Shadowbane was one of the best PVP MMO's ever released next to pre-toa Dark Age of Cameltoe, EVE, Pre-Trammel UO, etc..

FFA PvP - player cities - etc.

Oh wel... funny how World of Warcraft could have actually been World of Warcraft instead of Fisher Price's World of Hugcraft...

Has anyone tried to contact those bastard devs that own SB to see if they would reopen one server in the corner of some dusty office for us?

I miss this freaking game...

Maybe if someone petitioned? or someone dropped them a line about reduced sub prices or even f2p with ADs.

What's so terrible about it? the fact that it's in alpha stage and they are trying to get everything put in? They just did an OR update restructuring all the db code. This EMU will do good imo.

Barffail is not even in the same league as Shadowbane.

Shadowbane 2 with upgraded graphics, UI would rock the house.

Shadowbane was Epic and Noteworthy.

What's so terrible about it? the fact that it's in alpha stage and they are trying to get everything put in? They just did an OR update restructuring all the db code. This EMU will do good imo.

SWG emu is extremely unstable, completely void of anything to do other than duel (when i tried it).

It was a waste of my time.

I havent tried the SBEmu but honestly they havent really had a lot of time to work with it.

As someone that played Shadowbane since release, I second the sentiment... Please bring Shadowbane (or a game like it) back!!!!
