It may not be as fancy as Eve, but I find VO to be 10 times more fun to play.

And as for the game community, I can safely say it is one of the most mature, helpful and happy communitys I have ever come across in any on-line game to date.

There are only 4 devs, but somehow they find the time to hop onto the message boards to answer questions and give advise.  One of the pluses of VO is that the game is always being worked on with updates as often as once a week.

I started my 8 hour trial and with the first hour I subscribed, it simply is a lot of fun to play. :D
