- of course, the vid could be misleading, but it makes me want to give it a shot, and cheese is hthe bread and butter of sci-fi.. and boinged, did you even listen? the "select few" are evolving.. thats how they survive.. and why would you expect the entire storyline in a 2 min vid? what is she fighting for? survival maybe?theres a million questions you could ask.. buy the game when it comes out, im sure you will find out

- this is the answer, WHY should we try to reach other planets when the aliens can come to US (bad things can happen like in this game but its the cheapest solution lol). Kiddin' VERY nice game.

- Some of you miss the point I think. Earth is gone from what they showed. It's not about the government backstabbing or for that matter even Earth. It's about survival...period. Compare the plot to Terminator for example. Pretty simple if you ask me. Simple, but it works.

- So what would constitute a great plotline? A great plotline for an MMO for that matter. I think the "plotline" presented is great for the beginning of what your story may be. If the game is somehow story driven the "actual plot" will probably be something totally different. As far as arcs, well...I see a good one with the hidden alien powers you will have and learn to use. The logos is another.

- This video is much cooler without the dialog lol. Try it and see! I agree that this is a great CGI movie but very weak plotline.

- It is cheesy but hell. If this happened I wouldn't ask any questions about the government, people that do that just get in the way and die...

- Very cheesy dialogue, just like the backstory on the main site. She doesn't care about what happened to Earth, doesn't care about the government knowing in advance, is happy to just sign up and fight even though it's hopeless. If soldiers on Earth were outnumbered then how can a handpicked few survive? Why can't everyone pile through the portals? What the hell is she fighting for? The plot stinks although the movie is well put together at least. Will the movie be part of the game? No. Will the plot be? Yes.

- It's a cool cinematic, and it shows some promising game play elements. Lets hope that Richard Garriott's vision doesn't get flushed down the tube for the sake of the almighty dollar.

- I am in beta, And I have been in Closed beta for Most all the comercial MMOs since 1999. While I am under NDA I can say this... It's a BLAST! Not only will I be preordering this Gem, But I am sure I will be hooked for at least a year and that is a rarity for me to say so!
