Tabula Rasa News - Exclusive Interview w/ Lord British!

Our own Richard Duffek recently got the chance to interview Richard Garriott about NCSoft's upcoming sci-fi/fantasy MMORPG Tabula Rasa.  The interview uncovered some new things about "Lord British" as well as his new brain child.  Here is an exceprt from our interview:

MMORPG.com: What would you say is the most important lesson you've learned from past experience in game design?
Garriott: Probably the most important lesson carrying forward with Tabula Rasa are the things that did not work in the original release of UO such as how important stability is, how futile an automated ecology was, how some players will exploit any opportunities available to them for anti-social behavior, and how creating a virtual world that takes four hours to cross from one side to the other is not necessarily fun. On the positive side, we've seen that providing players with a rich toolbox of features with which to interact with the game world and others will far exceed the original vision of the creators.
