Speaking of this, some local stores here in my town and in Vancouver (Canada), there's still boxes of Jump to Lightspeed expansion pack for SWG for $30 CDN, and it's been a free part of the game since 2005. LOL SWTOR: sub ended, no thanks to Georg Zoeller! R.I.P. SWG June 26, 2003-Dec 15, 2011 (it already died on Nov 15, 2005)

Checking web site https://secure.plaync.com/cgi-bin/accountManagement.pl?language=en then https://secure.plaync.com/cgi-bin/accountManagement.pl?action=gameAccounts leads to Game account details, where the "beta" account status is 'unplayable' selecting activate account leads to where they want input of a Serial code. It is NOT ftp yet... likely not ftp till middle of Janurary 2009. Leaving the Serial code blank brings up invalid serial code in red. Client d/l link ftp://ftp.playtr.com/Tabula_Rasa_Downloader.exe Upgrade account tab also wants a Serial code input.

That's fun is cool in my book. B. I've never seen the death of a MMO before and that alone should make it interesting as hell to see. Will they just let it fade away and pull the plug or will they go out with a bang?

Made me wonder if enough people played during the "free time" if they might do some kind of.. promotion to try and save it. There was a good article on another site about closing down an MMO (it was with one of the auto assault people).. and they made some good points. From my perspective.. how many MMO's can NCSoft shut down before I won't want to buy from them again.
