Carpet Bombing at lvl 5 is by far better than Sharpnel. Carpet Bombing at lvl 5 puts out 5 diffrent bombs that span a large amount of area and each does very high damage. Also, its a good idea to put points into Mind since Carpet Bombing and/or Sharpnel get a damage bonus from Mind.

Both :)

Shrapnel [level 1] is awesome for those times when you just have way too many mobs at close range. Take this if you don't have flash bomb

Carpet Bombing [skill level 3]- great at taking out mobs from 60m away.
