Have you guys ever wonder.. why if this was in development for so much time... years i think.... the final released game fells so empty... I mean... there was a lack of a bunch of things.. that after years and years of development you will expect... I hear they revamp everything in the game twice... but.. that means that they delete just everything and start again.. is that smart at all??? and even if they revamp.. i guess there is always a good content around like that tree model over there.. the animation right there and the hot girl down there.. you know what i mean???

They revamped only once, about 2 or 3 years ago. It used to be a high-fantasy game verging on the edge of Barbie Princess queer. Anyways, longer development time does not mean better. It just means the devs don't know what they're doing or don't know where they're going with their game.
Long develop time may somtimes mean more contant, but it's how the devs execute that content in the game that is really worth it. 2K could have made Bioshock with a crap load of levels with no point. But instead they played smart, made about 10 or so very well designed levels (oh, and Bioshock won many Game of the Years). You see, it's like the Wendys commercials; don't fill yourself up with just anything, get Wendy's (or in this case, real good games) |

Most of the time, the longer the game is in development the better, gives them more time to iron out the bugs etc. There were a few problems with TR, like them keep restarting it, then they pushed it out too soon, long time being made doesn't mean it could do with longer |

More time means better if they are used correctly? Worst if you just screw around.. because what you have done gets old and you waste money? |
