Hey there Well I am looking for a new MMORPG to try as my next MMO, as I played WoW for about a year and 7 months and tbh I'm bored of it now so just looking to try something new. Anyways, before I go out and buy it I have a few questions regarding it. 1. What is the population/playerbase like atm? As I hear pretty much all negative things regarding the game and that the servers are empty and not many members and it's going to end up like Auto Assault so I would like opinions on how the game is going population-wise. 2. Are there items in this game, like in WoW and other MMO's you get new gear and stuff as you level up like new armour/weapons/mounts etc? I like MMO's to have armour/weapons upgrades and stuff though as I like gearing up characters and getting good gear. 3. What is the end game content like? Is it worth playing the game to the level cap and participating in end game and what do you get out of it? Are there any PvE encounters like raids or dungeons or whatever they may be in this game or is it all PvP based end game? 4. How would the game run on my system and on what graphics settings? My specs are: Athlon X64 3200+ (2.00GHz rated at 3.20GHz, 512KB cache) 2GB DDR Ram Radeon HD3850 256MB (PCI-E) Thanks for your help and time. |

Your system can run it fine. The actual settings might depend on the situation but you'll get good stuff. I think it's pvp based, endgame that is. I think there's a few instancec but i'm not sure about the rrewards for them. There's gear and many kinds of weapons. You'll notice just one weapon wont get you through all situations and you'll need to switch. No mounts but there's a low armor type of gear with speed bonus. Not too sure about population but servers were pretty much listed as low all the time. TR is a lot of fun 1-30 but after that i kept dying all the time and i found myself doing other things and not wanting to play the game. Maybe you'll be better at it than me and make it to 50.

1 - I am in Australia so playing at low times for U.S but I still see other people running around on my server. Both in new zones and higher zones. 2 - Upto lvl 12 new gear is every 3 levels or so - after that its about every 5 levels. as in - lvl 11 rifle, lvl 16 rifle, lvl 21 rifle etc. When you hit the class levels 5, 15, 30 you get access to new equipment - weapons and armor 3 - Someone was saying in chat last night that it takes around 150 hours to hit level 50. After 3 months of casual play I am at lvl 36. There are no WOW like raids in T.R at the moment - so its pvp or start a new toon. THey are talking about differnt types of game play / content so hopefully that will be there by the time I hit lvl 50. 4 - The game should run fine on your computer. Although you were ripped off only getting 256m video card :) |
