Playing (mmo):
Eve Online
UO (FS)

Playing:
CS:S
Fallout 3

I would like to try TR but the trial is just too short.

Hell it took me two 2 week trials in Eve to sub to that game.

Im a casual player basically 2-3 hours a day, 3-4 dayz a week.

im basically looking for a sci-fi game to combo with Eve.

Eve = space flight

TR would be my SCi-fi MMO on the ground.

Good idea? is TR really that crappy? it looks ok to me.

Maybe someone who's been playing for a while can give me a run down on the state of the game?

It's 3 days because if you had  2 weeks or even 10 days you'd experience all this shallow game has to offer.

Yes, now please welcome Vlad Vlad.

^^ What they said.

But since your casual you may actually enjoy this game, especially if you are going to still be playing EVE. This game does have fantastic combat and really cool base raids..but that is kind of all it has at this moment. I think you would enjoy it since you are looking for a sci-fi shooter MMO and this is the only one out.

Hell, its 10 dollars to buy..so why not?

They are making some great changes this year it seams, so things are finaly looking up for TR, i resubed and i like it, but i rly like fps games so this i like heaven for me, very casual and fun. Its fun to logg in and do a dungeon or defend a point and ofc blow things up

So its rly depends what kind of game you like. Not every game is for everyone.

I'll believe it when I see it - to date the added content has been weak, the promises vapour, and the dev team awol

Sometimes I wish I was a balloon!

I'd give an aplause if you spent more then a day in the game. Sure it's fun but you know early it's mostly the same and hey you can play other things alike without monthly costs ;)

Iguess you mean that its imopssible for someone to like the game for more then a day, i mean if you thinks so it must be right. I play TF2 very much its the same and i still play it almoste every day. WoW end game is the same until you get your stuff and can move on, ppl still play that. Btw what do you play that isent the same ?

I don't know where you life but the game is really REALLY cheap, I already had the game but saw the new price and simply couldn't resist buying another copy, I had the regular version ( unfortunaly pre-order/retail price payed) and now picked up the Exclusive Edition for only....I really Lolled when i saw the price, just see pic. i took with my phone :) And it even has 30day's of game time on it,, so I suggest looking at your local gameshop, cause I am sure that anyone could spend the price on a game that cheap, that is afcourse if your gameshops carries the games and have em as cheap as Freerecord shop sells them now in the Netherlands (Holland)
