Props to PlanetTR.com for the help.

Want the test server, but don't want to download a needless 2GB client for it? No problem! The devs are too "hard at working making new content" that they can't make a simple .exe file to do this. So I did some research:

  1. Go to your Tabula Rasa installation directory. Default C:\Program Files\NCSoft
  2. Copy the Tabula Rasa folder into that same NCSoft directory. Rename it Tabula Rasa (PTS)
  3. Click start, click run, then type in regedit.
  4. This will bring up the registry. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NCsoft\TabulaRasa
  5. There should be a value present named InstallPath. Add a new value called InstallPath (PTS) and modify it so it's set the the directory of your Tabula Rasa (PTS) folder.
  6. Re-start NC Launcher. The Tabula Rasa PTS should now be present in the games menu.
  7. Update & enjoy!

Heh - perhaps I should've been playing on the PTS server as well as the live one - it would have saved me at least a month's subscription
