Patch 4.1.11 Detailed
The Blizzard team has exciting news for players looking for 'more' in World of Warcraft. Bashiok has posted a new thread in the official forums with a sneak peek at the 4.1.11 patch which will bring, among other things, an appearance tab into the UI as well as the ability to have one's portrait show off a self-taken mobile photo taken in the bathroom mirror!

The World of Warcraft team has announced that 'Crabby the Dungeon Helper' will be arriving in a future content patch. Crabby is, as devs describe, an "adorable and knowledgeable crustacean companion will guide you through the game with useful hints, tips, and tricks for every situation."

Blizzard's 20th Anniversary Video Contest
Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new video contest for fans of all its games. Included, of course, is World of Warcraft. Fans are urged to use their creativity to capture their favorite moments and/or ways in which the game captured their imaginations. There are a boatload of prizes, most notable of which is an all-expense paid trip for two to Blizzcon 2011.

Blizzard's 20 Year Retrospective
Blizzard Entertainment has released a new video featuring a retrospective look at the last 20 years of the gaming giant's history. The video features the founders discussing the company's founding. Mike Morhaime, Frank Pearce and Allen Adham and how they all discovered one another and their collective passion for games. The video goes on from there talking to current and former employees about the games that Blizzard has created over the past 20 years.

Blizzard Theme Park in China - Beyond Rumor
According to a new article at the Huffington Post, it appears that the rumors of a theme park based on Blizzard Entertainment properties is indeed under construction in China. The article references a Chinese news broadcast and contains several screenshots of the park under construction taken from the report. Called "Joyland", the park will feature zones called Moles World, World of Legend, Universe of Starcraft, Island of Mystery and Terrain of Warcraft.

The World of Warcraft dev team has posted a new handy-dandy guide to Conquest Points and using them wisely in pursuit of PvP glory. The guide gives players information about how Conquest points are earned and the weekly cap totals on the number of points that can be earned.

Blizzard & PayPal Cracking Down
In another assertive move by Blizzard Entertainment to crack down on World of Warcraft gold and items vendors, PayPal has agreed to prohibit the use of its accounts for buying and selling these virtual goods. Blizzard complained to PayPal using an "Intellectual Properties violation" which PayPal has chosen to honor. According to Curse, "PayPal has honored these complaints, and has sent notices to all affected parties."
