The World of Warcraft site is featuring a pair of updates of interest to players. The first centers around the Firelands Raid and upcoming changes. The second is a first look at the Druid Tier 13 armor as well as a retrospective look back at other armors.

According to the blog post, the Firelands Raid has been under the watchful eye of the dev team. It is their goal to ensure that players working on Heroic levels will be able to "get as close to Ragnaros as possible" before the next update. This is all in preparation, they say, for the fast-approaching final showdown with Deathwing. To get to this goal, a series of hotfixes will be put in place to scale down the overall difficulty of the raid.
