Blizzcon Preview

Hallow's End Begins

SteelSeries has announced the release of a new gaming mouse featuring an exterior nod to the Cataclysm expansion for World of Warcraft. Patch v4.0.1 Now Live
The World of Warcraft v4.0.1 patch has officially arrived on all servers. The patch lays the groundwork for the upcoming Cataclysm expansion and features a host of game-altering changes including class mechanics, gem changes, guild membership increase and more. Reforging Preview
Blizzard is ramping up the information for the World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm. The official Cataclysm site has been updated with a preview of the Reforging system coming with the expansion. Reforging will allow players to customize items by altering statistics. NPC Reforgers will be available in all major cities.

Tenacious D to Rock BlizzCon
Blizzard has announced that Tenacious D will be bringing down the house at this year's BlizzCon in Anaheim, California. Tenacious D is made up of Jack Black and Kyle Gass. Blizzard Entertainment has announced a pair of contests for World of Warcraft. The first is an ad contest to announced Cataclysm to the world via print media. The second allows creative types to create a YouTube video announcing Cataclysm. Both contests feature pretty sweet rewards for grand prize winners including new rigs, headphones and more.

The Archaeology Profession
The official World of Warcraft site has been updated with a look at Archaeology, a new profession coming when Cataclysm launches. Other new professions include Cooking, First Aid and Fishing. Archaeology, as its name implies, involves seeking out that which was lost and trying to complete artifacts for unique item rewards.
